It’s been a long time since our last post on this blog and it’s safe to say the world has changed a fair bit in that time – we hope you’re all keeping safe. We’re in sthe process of setting up a snazzy new website, but in the meantime we thought it might be good to give you all a bit of a brief update! So what have the Tin Minions been up to in the last two and a half years?
Steel Sky Productions and Warhammer Underworlds: Online
Back in 2019 we were successful in signing the license to Games Workshop’s incredibly successful tabletop skirmish game, Warhammer Underworlds. For the development and subsequent publishing of the digital adaptation, Steel Sky Productions was created to take the charge in bringing this amazing PvP dice-and-cards strategy combat game to market. The base game was officially released in January 2020 for PC on Steam and we have gone on to release 11 DLC warbands, 4 cosmetic DLC packs and a host other add-ons, features and game modes. The game is also available to buy on other PC platforms and we are looking to bring it to console next year with the right partner.
Warhammer Underworlds: Online is available to download on Steam, Humble, Fanatical and Green Man.
We also have an official Warhammer Underworlds: Online website here!

The Choices That Matter series on Nintendo Switch!
Choices That Matter has been one of our most popular text-based adventure games on iOS/Android (over 1 million downloads!) and we were super keen to see this on the Nintendo Switch, so we teamed up with the awesome folks at Screwtape Studios over in Brisbane, who made this happen. All three epic stories, the first of which comes in at up to 600,000 words, are available to buy now on the Nintendo eShop!
Choices That Matter: And The Sun Went Out – North America / Europe
Choices That Matter: And Their Souls Were Eaten – North America / Europe
Choices That Matter: And Their Heroes Were Lost – North America / Europe
Oh, And The Sun Went Out is also available on Steam too. It was also a finalist at this year’s AGDA awards!
New Fighting Fantasy Classics additions!
Long-time followers of Tin Man Games over the years will know that the Fighting Fantasy gamebook series by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson is very close to our hearts. After a bit of a hiatus, this year we were able to bring two new titles to our Fighting Fantasy Classics library on iOS, Android and Steam. Steve’s epic, beastly adventure, Creature of Havoc, and Ian’s heat-stoked, desert adventure, Temple of Terror, were received warmly by fans and we’re looking to add more in 2022!
Fighting Fantasy Classics can be downloaded from Steam, the App Store and Google Play!
Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown comes to PC VR!
We felt that Arbitrix and the scoundrels had been trapped on the PlayStation VR for too long! Zero One Studios came to the rescue and took on the challenge to port the game to PC VR as well as release a non-VR version too, for players without VR hadware. The port was released to Steam in September and the team are currently working hard to bring it to yet more VR platforms next year. Watch this space!
The journey continues ever onwards…
So there we have it, a very brief overview in what has been an eventful few years! We’ve travelled around the world showcasing our games, seen amazingly talented Tin Minions come and go, moved office twice, and then retreated to working from home as the pandemic took hold. In 2022 we’re looking forward to adding more new content to Warhammer Underworlds: Online, seeing more of our games come to Nintendo Switch, and playing Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown on new VR systems. We’re also ramping up development on a new game that will be released in 2023 and we’ll be posting job adverts relating to that over the next few months. If you’re interested in working with us, keep your eyes peeled!
Have a great rest of 2021 – stay safe – and happy adventuring!
