The Art of Concept Sketches

A behind the scenes look at Josh Wright’s new Armies of Death illustrations!

For some of our Fighting Fantasy digital adaptations we need to commission new artwork. For Armies of Death we turned to long-time Tin Man Games collaborator, Joshua Wright, who has worked on a number of our games including the Gamebook Adventures series, Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.

Josh’s unique artistic flair is a perfect match for the world of fantasy illustration, where his talent truly shines. His knack for creating eerie, monstrous designs brings to life the terrifying creatures you will encounter and battle in Allansia. We’re thrilled to take you behind the scenes and showcase some of Josh’s early pencil sketches for Armies of Death. These sketches provide a glimpse into the evolution of his creative process, from initial concepts to the stunning final versions!
