Miellyn Fitzwater Barrows here. I’m the producer and one of the writers for a brand spankin’ new line of Gamebook Adventures called Strange Loves.

Some of you may remember me from our booths at PAX Prime and PAX East. I did a lot of shilling for GA and maybe, if you were nice at the last PAX East, I gave you a little sneak preview of this new line.

Well, we are now mere weeks away from launch, and I wanted to jump on and give you the official scoop on my baby.

Strange Loves is a brand new line of humorous supernatural romance novels where you get to play as a woman. It’s still a Gamebook AND and app, but it’s more along the lines of a straight Choose Your Own Adventure style book than the previous Gamebook Adventures.

I wrote Book 1: Vampire Boyfriends, our first release in the series. Full of hot vampires, evil plots, college, romance, explosions, fast cars, true love, fangs, fame, riches, kidnappings, cats, and a destiny that you can use for good… evil… or both, you have the chance to kick a little ass and make a little love. Not necessarily in that order.

And that’s not all! We have two other books in the hopper right now from more fabulous authors:

Book 2: Hex Boyfriends by Lacy Wilson explores the dangers and delights of dabbling in witchcraft and dating.

In Book 3: Two-Faced Boyfriends by Karla Sakas you’re a shapeshifter where you slip some strange shapes on for size and socialize with some shifty characters.

No matter what, you can count on Strange Loves to be funny, romantic, and supernatural, and they’ll always have the beautiful interface and artwork you love from Gamebook Adventures.

We’re doing a simultaneous launch for iOS and Android so, regardless of your smart device preference, you can join in the fun.

Follow our progress on Twitter @StrangeLovesApp and by becoming a fan of our Facebook page.

I’m sure you’ll be hearing more from me in the coming weeks and I’ll be at PAX Prime with Ben, so please stop by and say hi!

Cheers,
Miellyn
